Our first impression was great just moved in today

We initially met Heather viewing the open homes at Mt Roskill and Owairaka. As first home buyers who weren't ready to enter the market, we really appreciated the supportive approach to explaining what everything meant. We met Jim a few months later when visiting the Balfron site, still not with all our ducks in a row to buy. Jim was very frank and honest. We genuinely felt that he was supporting us to the best of his abilities to get our foot in the door. We are very thankful for Jim's patience explaining all these new concepts to us, and wouldn't have been able to make it work without his support. We also appreciate Heather's patience with us when the whole family wanted to check out the open home. We found all the open days very well organised and welcoming. We didn't feel any hesitation about buying from Neilston homes with Heather, Jim and Sara there to great - and they never made us feel a nuisance for bringing the kids along. Thanks team.

Jim looked after us at the show home - explained the house and the buying process really clearly. It took us a long time to get First Home Partner approval and he was very patient while we went through the process, and checked in regularly, reassuring us the house was still ours while we got the paperwork sorted. Sara was also great on phone and email while we dealt with Kainga Ora, nothing was a problem and she reassured us we would get there. As first home buyers we had to ask quite a few questions and Jim and Sara were very responsive. Would recommend Neilston to first home buyers, or anyone really! From the beginning, they set clear expectations, and I'm pleased to say they met every one of them. The project was completed on time, just as they assured, and I am satisfied with the quality of their work.

All the rooms nice and high ceiling, and good quality finishing. The house completed before the time, Excellent time management. The light fittings very nice and bright. Suggestion If we have a store room even if small it will be very handy to store organic collection other staffs. Bath room , the soap holder is not a good design it is brittle it is better to have the soap holder in the wall or which can be flexible plastic that resist the touch, our one is already broken the design needs to be review or change it in the future. Car Park The car park at the backyard is very tight that might hit the window, when reverse it needs safety measurement to protect the window. The door entrance at the back needs roof on the top to prevent rain. Overall nice people, updates us every improvement of the house. Nice materials they use to build the house. we like the design including the landscape and the plants. Thank you very much Neilson Homes , You are amazing people. good team work. well done. I can easily tick all the boxes above, my wife and I purchased two properties as investments and I can honestly say it was a seamless, pleasant experience. At the end of the building process we were presented with two beautiful brand new townhouses. Gerard, Sara and Matt were brilliant to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. The homes are built to a far higher standard than my own private residence, but we are pleased that some deserving tenant will at least enjoy them. We were kept informed the whole time and the new builds were completed well before the stated time.

The best thing about Neilston Homes - they are people people. They have been in the business of property development a long time, so their processes for building a large complex like ours (with 25 Townhouses) was like a well oiled machine. All the pitfalls and known problems they would have ironed out years ago ! The builds are high spec with very large windows and the designs also make them a standout choice. They are designed for best sun options on the site and their attention to detail is out of this world. The townhouse we purchased (2) were rented immediately after settlement with long waiting lists and had increased in value from purchase to settlement - 4 months. I am also impressed that Neilston Homes also beautify the area around the complex with big trees, shrubs, lawns and footpaths. The chattels such as heat pump door locks, cabinet making, wardrobe walk ins, ovens and cook tops etc are all high spec. I can guarantee that what you see on the brochure is what you get as the end result. Sara and Matt were outstanding and great communicators as was the CEO Gerrard who also personally communicated with us and made us feel special. Neilston Homes are well priced compared to other prominent developers in the Auckland market. We had peace of mind that our deposit and our townhouse would not disappear into thin air if a recession hit or a situation where many other developers went broke. A special shout out to Sara who has a "can do anything" attitude - a great asset to Neilston Homes.
